msnmsgr.exe - no disk \device\harddisk\DR1
When I start Windows live massager 2009 I get a message sayings msnmsgr.exe - no disk there is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive \Device\Harddisk1\DR1 and I have to hit cancel, try again a couple of times and then it will load a bit then comes up again I have just installed Windows 7 Beta to my computer does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I have the same problem, and can't seem to find a solution to it. Has there been made any progress regarding this?

I have the same problem. Clean install of Windows 7 Beta (7000) 32-Bit - Installed Windows Live Essentials straight from the web.Any solution?

There's mention of a fix on another thread found here. It's the last post on the thread... If the copy you installed was installed from another disc, It may need to use that disk to complete the installation.
